Rebranding is more than just a change in name or logo—it's about redefining who we are, realigning with our mission, and recommitting to our values. Today, we are excited to introduce our new brand identity, which reflects our dedication to advancing healthcare, rehabilitation, and stroke recovery. 

Why Rebranding?

As Valkyrie Industries expands into new and innovative realms, we recognise the need for a brand that reflects this evolution. Our journey began in 2017 with the creation of a haptic sleeve. Since then, we've seen multiple product iterations, leading to the development of our patented haptic wearable, formerly known as ‘Valkyrie EIR’.

Our technology, combined with XR, has been instrumental in recreating human interactions in the virtual realm across various applications, including fitness, gaming, education, and more. However, we know our potential extends beyond these areas. Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS), which has been widely used in healthcare for decades, opens up new opportunities as we explore rehabilitation for neurological disorders, specifically stroke recovery. We’re excited to share that we have developed six mini-games tailored for different levels of stroke rehabilitation and are currently focused on obtaining FDA approval and conducting clinical studies.

This evolution has led us to the rebranding of ‘Valkyrie EIR’ into ‘eir Bands’. This change is more than just a simplified name; it represents our commitment to creating a brand that is accessible, relatable, and deeply resonant with those we aim to serve.

The Story Behind "eir"
eir is derived from Old Norse, meaning protection and help, and is often associated with a goddess or Valkyrie renowned for her medical skills.

This name embodies our mission to provide care and support through innovative technologies. Our new branding reflects a deeper connection to our purpose: to be a trusted ally in the journey of upper limb recovery, empowering individuals with the tools they need to regain their health and independence.


A New Visual Identity with Recovery & Revival Greens

For the evolution of eir and our commitment, we've also introduced two new colours: Recovery and Revival Greens:

These hues symbolise the healing and renewal we strive to provide through our medical products and solutions. Green, often associated with growth and revitalisation, captures the essence of our commitment, to transforming recovery.
